Tons of Books of Magic, Sandman, picked up a hardcover of Adrian Tomine's Shortcomings for $5. some manga at 50% off the alreayd discounted rate so like 2.50 a vol. I wish I had more money.

Just finished this. I was afraid it was going to feel really generic given the subject matter but I was happily proven wrong. The writing is witty yet never bordering on cliche and the characters, although stereotypical, are really well developed. Definitely picking up the remaining volumes and eagerly anticipating the movie now.

Was that just 2 volumes or were they both of them put together?

They were originally released as separate trades and just recently released together in one book. It collects the first 12 issues of the series. Well worth the $13 Amazon is selling it for, especially considering it is $10 to buy the volumes separately if you choose to do so.

After waiting nearly a year - I pre-ordered back in April 2009 - Robert Kirkman and Jason Howard's The Astounding Wolf-Man Volume 3 has finally arrived!

Unfortunately, my pre-order for Invincible Ultimate Collection Volume 5 from that same order was cancelled as there's still no sign of it.

Last one was an impulse buy at Chapters. The other six were ordered from Falconer Books, my favourite independent bookstore in town, sadly closing its doors at the end of April.

The Oor Wullie book is actually a facsimile edition of the 1940 annual. Oh, and the book with no title is the third volume of Loveless. Not sure why Amazon and Chapters have covers with no text like that, unless they figure it just looks cleaner.
